Short description:

We will give you insights into Google's search algorithm, raise awareness for Google's semantic search capabilities, and explain how you can control the individual aspects to best make use of the search engine. 

We will show you how to perform deliberate searches with the help of the AWOL framework, how searches can be restricted, how the knowledge about one good source can open up a whole universe of further relevant sources, and how these can be searched specifically. For the really tricky cases we offer search strategies on how to still find good hits. 

We take the search process one step further by also optimizing the use of the browser, including the use of PDF searches. We show you how navigation can be extremely accelerated both by making use of shortcuts and extensions, and how optimizing the omnibox leads to faster search results. 

We overcome the shortcomings of PDF searches in Chrome and show you how effective searches within and across multiple documents can be performed, which in turn will generate huge time-savings.
